Very nicely done. I like the pacing on this one. You are keeping the tension high, but not overdone. I also like the POVs that you are giving us. I think they are very believable. I like Lucius trying to come to terms with her feelings for him and vice versa, his grief and his sense of self-worth all at once. It's a complex thing to do. Keep up the good work and I hope someone beats him on the head to realize he has a good thing waiting for him if he takes the leap of faith. Author's Response: I am soo glad you are liking it. I figured that to lose one's family would change anyone. It is such a betrayal that he suffers from the man he pledged his loyalty to, of course it would make him rethink the side he's on and why. There will be more to come... soon.
